It’s really important to get constructive criticism. How can you learn from your mistakes otherwise? I love it when people whom I respect give me suggestions for improving my work. Why shouldn’t it be the best possible? In getting input from others, though be sure to go to people who will give you truthful, objective feedback. Being objective about your own material is difficult especially when you’re being soaped up by everyone. Learning not to get carried away by the enthusiasm of those who aren’t the best critics can be even harder. So who can you turn to for an objective analysis of your material?
